Application Process

 

  • Student must be recommended by someone other than a parent

  • Parent or Guardian must be informed of the recommendation and sign the recommendation application

  • Application must be completely filled out, including not applicable items (N/A)

  • Only one grant per household/student

  • Only one grant per year

  • Application must be received 14-30 days prior to the fee due date

  • Student must be enrolled in a school within Walker County

  • Application approval will be based on a board decision and funds available at the time of approval

  • All approved grants will be made out to the entity that the student is receiving funds for.(i.e Mance Park Robotics)  

  • A gift card will be purchased for other needs. (i.e. school clothes etc)

  • Applications are to be mailed to PO Box 8543, Huntsville, Texas 77340
